I just chatted with my internet friend Krista. She's a sweet young lady. Strange how I had not picked up on any headlines regarding this, but it seems that the Mackay area of Australia was getting hit with massive amounts of rain for the past few days and thousands of homes and many businesses were severely damaged by widespread flooding.
