I have recently become hooked on podcasts. I am now subscribing to about 14 podcasts so far and I am actually listening to them all! I can't stop myself! I imagine that it is only a matter of time before one could find a podcast on just about any topic that could pop into your mind. Here is a sample of what I am currently subscribed to: this WEEK in TECH (the goings on in the Tech world), Fresh Ubuntu (a guide for those taking the Linux plunge), Mosaic (a weekly sermon given by Erwin McManus), and Doctors Without Borders (A monthly podcast bringing you the latest in humanitarian news and emergency updates from MSF projects around the world).
The quality of podcasts can range from amateur to professional and can either be just audio or include video. The amazing content you can gain access to through this medium is often content that you could never find anywhere else. And what's more amazing is how the majority of this content is totally free. Of course, it does cost money one way or another to host this kind of content. Many of these hosts do ask for donations from their subscribers to help them bare the cost of continuing to provide the content. It is well worth it.
There are two very easy ways to find out about top rated podcasts or to acquire them. This is done through the http://diggnation.com website or through iTunes.
The only thing left I can say is that anyone not hip to podcasts is missing out.

Why can't you be happy!? nag nag nag!!!
"Happiness is always a by-product. It is probably a matter of temperament, and for anything I know it may be glandular. But it is not something that can be demanded from life, and if you are not happy you had better stop worrying about it and see what treasures you can pluck from your own brand of unhappiness."
